The divorce cannot have resulted by severe damage to married life caused by the applicant for survivor's pension.

As mentioned in Article 9, the Ministry of the Interior is currently in the process of examining and completing a more flexible policy to both same sex couples and heterosexual non marital cohabitants to be implemented over a seven year period.
