The General Accounting Office of the Republic, the Office of the Attorney General, the Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman, the Superintendency of Banks and the Superintendency of Pensions are oversight bodies vested with constitutional authority.

Public health control is carried out by the Republika Srpska Institute for Health Protection laboratories, authorized to carry out control of health, while microbiological control is the responsibility of the Veterinary Institute.

(d) We authorize the Office of Internal Oversight Services to examine the feasibility of expanding its services to provide internal oversight to United Nations agencies that request such services in such a way as to ensure that the provision of internal oversight services to the Secretariat will not be compromised.

5. Notes that no mechanism has been established for the follow up to Office of Internal Oversight Services recommendations, including those considered by the General Assembly

The General Assembly decides to defer to its sixtieth session consideration of the report of the Office of Internal Oversight Services on the review of the operations and management of United Nations libraries.

A determination will then be made of the adequate funding level for the Office of Internal Oversight Services, the scope and nature of its activities and mechanisms for its operational independence from the Secretariat.

UNHCR will review the Terms of References of the Oversight Committee at the end of 2005 to keep them in line with audit arrangements at the United NationsN Secretariat.

The Supervision Authority conducts financial supervision in the name of the State and is independent in the conduct of financial supervision.

The Steering Committee shall submit a full and final report on governance and oversight, incorporating the review of OIOS, to the Secretary General for transmission to the General Assembly.
