The increase of 81,500 is attributable to a delay in the application of the revised cost sharing percentage to the full amount of the gross budget after recosting in the 2004 2005 biennium.

The revised estimates for the 2004 2005 biennium indicate additional requirements amounting to 4,069,600, none of which is subject to cost sharing with the United Nations.

Recosting of other revised estimates and programme budget implications will be dealt with, as applicable, in the context of the consolidated statement of charges to the contingency fund.

During the course of its discussions with the Mission and representatives of the Secretary General, the Advisory Committee was informed that the costs outlined in the revised budget would be adjusted because the Mission was planning to reconfigure its air fleet and regionalize the use of some aircraft.
