Annual review

Mandated reviews are in depth reviews of fourth national communications, annual technical reviews of national greenhouse gas inventories, evaluation of reports demonstrating progress achieved in meeting commitments under the Kyoto Protocol, and reviews of the reports to facilitate the calculation of the assigned amount and to demonstrate capacity to account for a Party's emissions and assigned amount.

Reporting and publication The expert review team shall, under its collective responsibility, produce the following review reports for each Party included in Annex I

An expert review meeting is scheduled to take place in late 2005.

This review should take place in conjunction with the annual review in accordance with the relevant procedures in paragraphs 115 to 117 below.

Annual technical review of national greenhouse gas inventories (all Annex I Parties)

The decision by the Board, including on the scope of a review and the composition of a review team, shall be made publicly available as part of the report of its meeting.

Requests the Executive Director to report on the utilization of these funds in the context of the UNFPA annual financial review.

The Consultative Process has contributed positively, inter alia, and by facilitating the annual review of the Secretary General's report on oceans and the law of the sea.

The project participants and the DOE shall be informed about the date and venue of the next and the subsequent Executive Board meetings at which the request for review shall be considered.

Patricia Lewis considered the annual review undertaken by the Space Security Index' as an important element of international work on the issue.

The annual report 2004 2005 is the first one which the Board will present to the COP MOP.

Armenia had submitted its national report at the third review meeting on the Convention on Nuclear Safety and had been commended for its open and transparent collaboration with IAEA.

The annual review, including adjustment procedures as part of the review of the annual or base year inventory, shall be concluded within one year of the due date for submission of the information to be reported under Article 7, paragraph 1.

In accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 2008 (LX), the Committee will have before it the annual overview report of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) for 2004.

They stated that, in general, the Consultative Process had achieved its goals and facilitated the annual review by the General Assembly of developments in ocean affairs and the law of the sea.

The Group of 77 and China would also support the recommendation for the agenda item Training and research to be examined every two years by the General Assembly, instead of the current practice of annual reviews.

We also welcome the positive outcome of last Monday's Contact Group meeting in London, which endorsed the comprehensive review proposed by the Secretary General.

The Panel's review is under way and the Open ended Working Group may wish to make recommendations to the Meeting of the Parties as appropriate on these process agent uses.

However, the reporting format (e.g., global appeal, annual report) was not consistent with the format of the matrix, and outputs and key indicators included in the matrix were not mentioned in the reports issued by the Section and the Department.

In its resolution 59 275, the General Assembly endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the Committee on the work of its forty fourth session regarding the annual overview report of CEB for 2003 (E 2004 67).

Following completion of the trial period set up in that decision, annual reviews of the individual inventory of each Annex I Party became mandatory in 2003.

The expert review team shall also provide technical advice to the COP MOP or the Compliance Committee, upon its request.

The terms of service of lead reviewers for a given period of service shall be designed and operationalized in accordance with relevant decisions of the COP and the COP MOP.

Agenda item 2 also enables the Sub Commission to address a situation which arisessituations that arise between the end of the annual Commission meeting and the middle of August.

4. Requests the Commission for Social Development to continue to review annually the preparations for the tenth anniversary of the International Year of the Family as part of its agenda and of its multi year programme of work until 2004

The process of establishing a culture of evaluation has significantly increased survey activities, which have more than doubled with the introduction of the annual programme impact review (see figure 1).

The Organization also participated in the planning of the 56th Annual DPI NGO Conference and attended all the annual DPI NGO Conferences during the review period.

Delegations noted with appreciation the offer by the Government of China to host the second intergovernmental review meeting of the Global Programme of Action in 2006.

20. Expresses its concern about the insufficiency of resources in the trust fund established for the participation of the least developed countries in the annual review of the implementation of the Programme of Action by the Economic and Social Council
