A. Quadrennial reports deferred from previous sessions of the Committee

The deferred or transferred claims are identified in the relevant paragraphs of this report.

(a) To apply cost of living adjustments to deferred retirement benefits as from age 50

Upon request, a detailed list of the projects and equipment deferred, scaled down or cancelled was provided by UNFICYP.

(b) To apply cost of living differential factors to deferred retirement benefits as from the date of separation

At the end of this period, debtor countries may request a five year rescheduling of the deferred amounts.

Comment by the Administration. UNITAR will ensure that deferred income is recorded correctly at the closure of the biennium 2004 2005.

(d) The cost of living differential factor in subparagraph 5 (b) (i) above shall not apply to deferred retirement benefits.

Crises are typically associated with a drop not only in actual growth, but also in a country s growth potential, owing to deferred investment.

It stems from a pattern of postponed or partial structural reforms, of privatizations that benefit elites but hurt consumers.

In paragraph 22, the Board recommended that the Administration ensure that the Budget and Financial Management Service of the United Nations Office at Nairobi adjust the inappropriate entries to the deferred charges account.

Some members of the GHS Subcommittee provided direct technical advice and expertise to other Member States that are not members of the Subcommittee.
