The Chairman, H.E. Mr. John Ashe (Antigua and Barbuda), declared open the first meeting of the Fifth Committee of the sixtieth session of the General Assembly.

Before I conclude, allow me, on a brief personal note, to thank Ambassador John Ashe, Chairman of the Fifth Committee, for the way in which he guided us through our work.

It follows the story of Margaret Hale (Daniela Denby Ashe), a young woman from southern England who has to move to the North after her father decides to leave the clergy.
